Jumpstart…

This weekend was AMAZING. I can’t wait to share more photos and details with you this week. One of my favorite spring looks is a jumpsuit. I like to style mine with a scarf or belt to add some cute accessories besides my standard bracelets. Check out this post I did previously with a jumpsuit. 

I wear my jumpsuit with heals but they can be styled with flats as well. I wore my Tory Burch sandals for this look but over the weekend I rocked it with heels. I got a lot of complements at the Reward Style conference on the jumper. You know it’s good if it’s blogger approved. The other great thing with a jumpsuit is it’s really easy to take from day to night. On Friday we had meetings all day and then did a Kate Spade happy hour that night. For that, I dodged the scarf, added some eyeliner (nighttime no sunnies), and added a necklace like this Kendra Scott piece. Here are some of my favorite jumpsuits to check out as well.

Yellow Roses…

So, yesterday didn’t go as planned… I got up in the morning to get ready to leave for Dallas and I had the worst earache. I slept in a little bit, hoping that would make me feel better. At about 8am, my eardrum burst! Can you believe it? I scurried off to the doctor’s office and got some antibiotics and was on my merry way! I was worried that I was going to have trouble during my flight to Dallas, but the flight went surprisingly well! 

I think this could be my favorite blog post yet! My husband took the best photos, and I love the combo of the bag with the yellow roses. This silk blouse is so dreamy. I love the causal look of braided hair with a silk blouse. I also really like the top because it looks great with boyfriend jeans and can be so easily dressed up. I hope y’all have a great weekend. Schoolboy Blazer…

Tomorrow is the big day for me! I fly to Dallas on Thursday, and attend the Reward Style Conference on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am so excited to go.  Make sure to check out my Instagram for pictures throughout the weekend.  This time of year, it’s always hard to know when to wear a jacket and when to leave it home.  We have such large temperature swings in Minnesota. We got about a foot of snow on Wednesday, and on Sunday the temperature was in the mid 70s! For that reason, I love this Schoolboy blazer this time of year.  The tank that I am wearing underneath is a great layering piece, as well. I will definitely be packing the blazer this weekend!

We had the perfect Easter. We spent it with my family down in Florida.  The weather was great, and I really enjoyed the sunrise service that we attended on the beach.  You can see more photos from the weekend on my Instagram.

Spring Colors…

I know I keep saying this, but I am in love with bright yellow.  This skirt was last seen here. I am loving this look for Easter Sunday.  I miss the days of Easter Sunday meaning ruffled socks and patent leather shoes.  Somehow, I think I would look a little ridiculous showing up to church in that now. I love tunics. I always find myself wishing tops were longer.  I’m not even all that tall, and I still find myself buying tall sizes. I love to pair navy with silver. I had such a great weekend.  I got my hair done, enjoyed some time at home with my family, and got to meet a fellow blogger.  I must say, when I started blogging, I had no idea how many great people I would meet and connect with through Pink and Navy Stripes.

I love a good silk blouse. Especially an Equipment silk blouse. Somehow, this one is on sale right now and the green color is amazing! Yesterday, I went shopping and I could not find anything. I finally tried a jumpsuit and I LOVED it.  This one was actually long enough for me.  Jumpsuits are such a chic look and very slimming. We did Dahlia’s ten month photos this week. Our photographer is amazing. I’m hoping somehow in the midst of all Dahlia’s tears and screaming, that our photographer got some good photos.  I can’t wait to share them with all of you!
